Checklist for Submitting a New Event
Event Definition
An event is any course, program, meeting, workshop, presentation, conference, ceremony
or other event. These events can be offered on different dates.
Before proceeding you will need the following information:
- Details of your event, including enrolment numbers, fees, email contact details
of the manager who can approve the event and the target groups for the event.
Please also check that your event will not clash with an existing related event.

Information about who can manage your event via this web site.
- Any attachments that go with your event (maximum 1Mb of attachments).
- Details of the dates when you would like to offer the event, including details of
presenters and the venue where each of your sessions. If the sessions are to be
held at the Centre for Teaching and Learning then please ensure you have booked
your rooms before you start.
Please note:
- AVOID USING THE BACK AND FORWARD
BUTTONS OF YOUR WEB BROWSER DURING THE EVENT CREATION PROCESS. If you need
to edit something you have entered, then wait until you have reached the end of
the event creation process where you will be able to go back and make any changes
to the event.
